The National Main Street Conference in Milwaukee was an absolute blast! This was my first time to attend the conference and I was so impressed with the event and learned so much from the classes they provided. It was a great "refresher" and I was able to meet so many individuals that all share the same passion for enhancing their downtowns. Milwaukee was full of beautiful architecture, fantastic sightseeing and delicious food! I am so thankful to be a part of this organization and look forward to next year.
This time next week, I'll be in Enid, Oklahoma, for the Statewide Preservation conference! It's been a busy few weeks full of traveling, classes and conferences. I'm excited to take what I continuing to learn and customize it just for Seminole. We have many positive enhancements coming to downtown and I know you'll love it!
Don't forget, we have Movies on Main Street on June 10, 2016. We will have popcorn, candy and beverages for sale. We will be showing "Night at the Museum" and we ask that you bring your own lawn chair. The movie will be showing in the 200 block of Main Street. We can't wait to see you there!
