Statewide Preservation Conference

Posted by Lacey Butner on 06/09/2016

The 28th Annual Statewide Preservation Conference was full of educational sessions, networking, and a mutual desire to preserve historic buildings. The conference focused on the impacts of the National Historic Preservation Act on the preservation of Oklahoma’s heritage. There was also several before and after pictures of historic buildings and preservation efforts.

It’s been a great few weeks of traveling and gaining new knowledge over the Main Street program. It has also been a great year with Seminole Main Street. I’ve enjoyed every minute and seeing the changes that have taken place in the last 12 months. I look forward to my future with Seminole Main Street and the positive things to come!

Don't forget, we have Movies on Main Street on June 10, 2016. We will have popcorn, candy and beverages for sale. We will be showing "Night at the Museum" and we ask that you bring your own lawn chair. This is a free event for the public! The movie will be showing in the 200 block of Main Street. We can't wait to see you there!
